Decker Truck Lines
Goal: George Lawman and Decker Truck Lines needed a disaster recovery solution that was going to minimize downtime and meet their Recovery Time Objectives, allowing them to restore entire servers in an emergency.
Results: RenovoData deployed our log-based replication tool to each of their machines for rapid recovery. Additionally, RenovoData conducted failover testing alongside Decker Truck Lines, and aided in improving their disaster recovery plan. Once the solutions were implemented and tested, Decker Truck Lines felt full confidence in RenovoData’s product, customer support, knowledge, and the ability to accomplish recovery goals.
Syfan Logistics
Goal: Diana Bullington and Syfan Logistics needed a backup and recovery solution that came from an organization that understood the high availability needs of the transportation industry, and their TMS. Syfan already had disaster recovery solutions in place for specific VM’s, but their current solution could not achieve their desired RPOs and RTOs.
Results: RenovoData’s years of experience with transportation leaders and McLeod Software users enabled us to build a custom solution that would minimize downtime throughout Syfan Logistics’ IT environment in an emergency. They are now confident that in case of disaster (natural, equipment failure, ransomware, etc.) that Syfan Logistics has a solution in place that could be utilized until the disaster is resolved.
Evergreen Transport
Goal: Gil Davison and Evergreen Transport did not have automated offsite backups. They originally sought out RenovoData for basic database backups. Soon after, disaster struck, and Evergreen experienced significant downtime as the server was being rebuilt. To avoid this from recurring, Evergreen needed to layer on solutions with RenovoData that would allow them to restore a server image to an alternate location while the primary was being repaired in a disaster.
Results: The RenovoData Recovery Server was shipped in secure packaging to Evergreen’s primary location. The recovery server was packed with enough power and storage to backup server images locally and allow them to restore rapidly to if needed. Inevitably, disaster struck again, and Evergreen Transport was able to seamlessly restore their data and minimize downtime.
McLeod Software
Goal: Ben Barnes & McLeod Software needed a data protection partner that could keep up with and ensure the recoverability of their rapidly multiplying data and servers.
Results: RenovoData’s live white-glove support continues to offer agile help to the McLeod Software team. Their organization has grown significantly in the time of our partnership, but RenovoData’s varying degrees of data protection and disaster recovery solutions coupled with our expert support team continue to provide the protection that McLeod needs. RenovoData has been a Certified McLeod Partner since 2009.
P&S Transportation
Goal: Mauricio Paredes and P&S Transportation needed a high-availability recovery solution to support their rapid growth and recovery objectives. They needed that solution to be flexible, scalable, and allow them to do their own testing to ensure recoverability.
Results: RenovoData built a custom solution that was tested for recoverability alongside P&S Transportation. We were able to help P&S Transportation implement a solution that met their business objectives and is regularly tested to meet their RTO and RPO’s.
